Police investigate pedestrian collision in Somerset

Our Traffic Section is investigating a serious, life-threatening collision involving a school bus and a pedestrian that occurred yesterday afternoon in the southwest community of Somerset.At approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, a collision involving a school bus and a pedestrian occurred near the intersection of 162 Avenue and Sixth Street S.W. The pedestrian, a woman in her 60s, was transported to hospital as a precaution with what were initially believed to be non-life-threatening
