We are investigating a single-vehicle collision last night that resulted in the death of a 39-year-old man.On Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, at approximately 7:50 p.m., a motorcyclist was travelling east along McKnight Boulevard approaching Metis Trail N.E.It is believed the driver lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown from it, landing in a median between the Metis Trail off-ramp and McKnight Boulevard N.E.He sustained life-threatening injuries and later died in hospital.This is Calgary’s 2
